The Abingdon congregation gathers frequently for social events in the true meaning of the word “church”: assembly as the Lord’s. While living out our baptismal vows, we assemble for fellowship, ministry, inspiration, and outreach. In the ministry of “showing up,” grace abounds.

As a colonial parish, Abingdon's heritage is to provide spiritual and earthly care for the souls on God's earth. For over 350 years we have prayed with and for the people of Gloucester County and the world around us. As advances in transportation and technology have made the world smaller and more connected, our outreach efforts have expanded even more to reflect this growing community.
While many of our efforts are still focused in Gloucester, we strive to follow where the Spirit leads us - wherever it may be.
